Square Golf Launch Monitor: Where to Buy, Stock, and Accessories
By Patrick Kavanagh ·
If you want a new Square Golf launch monitor in the US, you have exactly four legitimate channels: the manufacturer’s own store at squaregolf.com, and three authorized online dealers — PlayBetter, Rain or Shine Golf, and Shop Indoor Golf. All four list it at the same $699.99. No big-box golf store carries it, and Amazon has not been a reliable source of new units: our product records (last verified September 14) found only used stock there.
This Korean-made unit has unusually confusing US availability for a product this popular, so this page documents the channels, the stock situation at each as of October 14, 2026, what our price tracking shows, the one discount code that actually verifies, and what the official accessories cost. For what the device actually does and whether it’s worth $700, see our Square Golf launch monitor review and the full spec and price-history page.
The four places to buy it new
Square Golf direct (squaregolf.com). The manufacturer runs its own US Shopify store, with the Home Edition listed at $699 and an add-to-cart button live as of this writing. This is also the only storefront that sells the full official accessory line — the SQGHE Protective Case ($59.99) and Saint Nine 3-piece balls ($59.99) appear on the product page. The downside of buying direct: the store publishes less about returns than the US dealers do, and shipping and support run through the manufacturer rather than a US retailer’s customer-service desk.
PlayBetter. Bills itself as the number-one Square Golf dealer in the USA, and it’s the retailer our price tracker has recorded since September. PlayBetter lists the unit at $699.99 with free 2-day shipping anywhere in the US, free 30-day returns, and an open-box unit at $665 when available. Its product page currently carries a notice worth knowing about: “Stock will be very limited & $100 price increase is coming soon.” We can’t verify whether that increase will happen — retailer urgency banners are a sales tool — but it’s on the page as of October 14.
Rain or Shine Golf. An authorized dealer at $699.99 with a price-match guarantee against other authorized retailers. The catch right now: Rain or Shine’s product page shows the unit backordered, shipping in 2 to 4 weeks. It also lists a certified open-box option and sells the Square as part of its SwingBay full-simulator packages.
Shop Indoor Golf. Also authorized, also $699.99, and in stock with 1-3 business day shipping per its product page. Financing is available. Its return terms are the least generous of the three dealers — more on that below.
Stock status by channel, October 14, 2026
| Channel | Price | Stock today | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|
| squaregolf.com (direct) | $699 | Available (add to cart live) | Not stated on product page |
| PlayBetter | $699.99 | In stock, “very limited” warning posted | Free 2-day, US |
| Rain or Shine Golf | $699.99 | Backordered, 2-4 weeks | Free standard, continental US |
| Shop Indoor Golf | $699.99 | In stock | Ships in 1-3 business days |
All stock claims above come from each retailer’s own product page, checked October 14, 2026. Stock moves fast on this unit, so treat this as a snapshot.
If 2-4 weeks doesn’t bother you, the backorder at Rain or Shine changes nothing about what you receive. If you want it this week, PlayBetter and Shop Indoor Golf are the in-stock options, and PlayBetter’s free 2-day shipping is the fastest stated delivery.
What our price tracking shows
We record live prices from retailer product pages on a recurring schedule. Across our tracked price snapshots since September 21, the Square Golf has not moved:
| Snapshot date | Live price | Retailer |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-09-21 | $699.99 | PlayBetter |
| 2026-09-28 | $699.99 | PlayBetter |
| 2026-10-12 | $699.99 | PlayBetter |
Flat at $699.99 across every snapshot. That matters for two reasons. First, it means there’s no pattern of quiet sales to wait for — if you see $699.99, you’re seeing the real price, and the only way under it is the discount code below or an open-box unit ($665 at PlayBetter, when listed). Second, it puts PlayBetter’s posted $100-increase warning in context: the price has been stable for the entire period we’ve tracked it, so any jump to ~$799 would be a genuine change, not a reversion after a fake sale. The ongoing record lives on the Square Golf product page.
Discount codes: one verifies, the rest don’t
The query “square golf discount code” gets searched about as often as the product itself, and most of what ranks for it is coupon-aggregator noise. Here’s the honest state of it:
- GSVSQUARE — 10% off, works at Square Golf’s official US store. This is an affiliate code from Jay at Golf Simulator Videos, listed on his site as verified in March 2026. At $699.99 it saves about $70, landing you near $629. It applies at the manufacturer’s own US Shopify checkout, not at the dealers. (His UK/Europe equivalent is SQUAREGSV via simspacegolf.com, if you’re reading this from outside the US.)
- No dealer codes. PlayBetter, Rain or Shine, and Shop Indoor Golf showed no product-specific promo code on their Square Golf pages when we checked. Shop Indoor Golf’s current sitewide sale covers SIGPRO enclosures and flooring, not this launch monitor.
- Aggregator coupon sites claim up to 8 active Square Golf codes, including a supposed 14% off. We could not verify these, and unverifiable aggregator codes for this brand have a poor track record. Don’t plan a purchase around them.
So the real decision is: roughly $630 buying direct with GSVSQUARE, versus $699.99 from a US dealer with free fast shipping and a US-based return desk. That ~$70 is the price of the dealer safety net.
Accessories: the case, balls, and stickers
The case is the accessory people actually search for, and it is genuinely confusing because it’s priced differently depending on where you look:
| Accessory | Where | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| SQGHE Protective Case | squaregolf.com | $59.99 | Official product page |
| Protective case add-on | PlayBetter | $69.99 (or $769.98 bundled with the monitor) | PlayBetter product page |
| Saint Nine 3-piece balls | squaregolf.com | $59.99 | Official product page |
Two things worth knowing before buying the case. First, the official store is $10 cheaper for what appears to be the same SQGHE case. Second, PlayBetter’s listing carries a disclaimer that the case protects against impacts but does not itself extend warranty coverage to a unit damaged while inside it — the 2-year warranty covers manufacturing defects, not accidents, cased or not.
On consumables: the Square Golf measures spin optically off dotted marking balls, and only three come in the box, alongside club shaft stickers for club data. Per PlayBetter’s and Shop Indoor Golf’s listings, the box includes the monitor, a swing stick, the 3 dotted balls, the removable Li-ion battery, and a remote. Marked retail balls like the TP5 Pix also work for spin, per PlayBetter’s product page, which is the cheaper long-term route than official replacement dotted balls.
If you’re shopping accessories because you want to take the unit outside: don’t. The Home Edition is indoor-only — direct sunlight can damage its cameras. The indoor/outdoor version is the Square Golf Omni, the $1,599.99 second-generation model that PlayBetter currently sells on preorder.
Warranty and returns differ by channel
The warranty itself doesn’t change: every authorized channel passes through Square Golf’s 2-year manufacturer warranty on the device, covering defects in materials and workmanship and excluding misuse, modification, and accidents, per the policy reproduced on PlayBetter’s product page. Buy from an unauthorized reseller — including used units on Amazon — and that coverage is in doubt; PlayBetter’s return terms explicitly exclude resold units and units registered under a different name.
Returns are where the channels genuinely diverge:
- PlayBetter: free 30-day returns, US shipping destinations only. Note this unit is excluded from PlayBetter’s longer 60-day program — 30 days is the limit.
- Rain or Shine Golf: 30-day returns on launch monitors in original, unopened condition. If you’ve hit balls with it, you’re keeping it.
- Shop Indoor Golf: 30-day returns for any reason, but you pay return shipping and restocking fees may apply.
- squaregolf.com direct: no clear return terms published on the US product page as of this writing — ask support before ordering if a return window matters to you.
If there’s any chance you’ll return it — say, you’re not sure the ~6 x 6 inch hitting zone or the marked-ball workflow suits you — PlayBetter’s terms are the only ones that let you return an opened unit for free.
Bottom line
Buy from PlayBetter if you want it fastest with the safest return terms; buy direct from squaregolf.com with code GSVSQUARE if saving ~$70 matters more than the dealer return window; skip Amazon for new units entirely. Get the case from the official store ($59.99, not $69.99), and budget for marking balls if you care about measured spin. And if your real question is whether this $700 unit is the right launch monitor at all, start with our full Square Golf review or compare it against everything else in the class in our launch monitor guide.
Limitations: stock statuses and the posted prices above are a snapshot of each retailer’s public product page on October 14, 2026, and the discount-code verification relies on Golf Simulator Videos’ published verification date (March 2026) — codes expire without notice. We have no affiliate relationship with the code’s publisher. Our own price record covers PlayBetter only, three snapshots since September 21.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Square Golf launch monitor sold in US stores?
Distribution is online-only in practice. New units sell through squaregolf.com (the manufacturer's US store) and a short list of authorized online dealers — PlayBetter, Rain or Shine Golf, and Shop Indoor Golf. No major big-box golf retailer stocks it, and Amazon listings have shown only used units in our records.
Is there a working Square Golf discount code?
One code checks out as of this writing: GSVSQUARE, a 10% affiliate code from Golf Simulator Videos that applies at Square Golf's official US store and was listed as verified in March 2026. At $699.99 that saves about $70. None of the authorized dealers (PlayBetter, Rain or Shine, Shop Indoor Golf) showed a product-specific code on their Square Golf pages when we checked.
Does the Square Golf come with a case?
No. The protective case is a separate purchase: Square Golf's own store lists the SQGHE Protective Case at $59.99, and PlayBetter offers a case add-on at $69.99 (or a $769.98 monitor-plus-case bundle). Note PlayBetter's fine print: the case protects against impacts but damage while cased is not itself covered under warranty.
Is the warranty the same everywhere you buy it?
The device warranty is the same — a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship — as long as you buy from Square Golf directly or an authorized dealer. What differs by channel is the return policy: PlayBetter offers free 30-day returns (US only), Rain or Shine accepts 30-day returns on unopened units, and Shop Indoor Golf takes 30-day returns with buyer-paid shipping and possible restocking fees.
